Since 1998 we have been relocating reclaimed, historic timber frame and hand-hewn log homes along the eastern seaboard.Our services are affordable and have been provided to folks from all walks of life.
Humble Restorations is a small family owned company that has been buying, selling and reconstructing hewed log and timber-frame homes since 1998. We feel blessed to be able to work in a field, which we are so passionate about. We have put together a body of work, which we are very proud of.
We rescue century old homes and barns from decades of neglect. We try to talk people into keeping and restoring the buildings they own. Sometimes these folks have no alternative but to remove the structure. That is where our unique services come in. We map the building with photos and drawings, and then meticulously disassemble it, saving every significant piece of architecture including moldings, floors, windows, etc. We then look for good homes for these structures.
That is where you come in. We can either sell you frames or complete homes; we can erect the structure on your foundation or consult you local builders and assist them with reconstruction.
We have tractor trailers full of wood doors, flooring, trim, etc. salvaged from antique buildings too
far gone to re-build. With these period accessories we can accommodate your desire to build an authentic Early American home!
Make no mistake, although our services and materials are competitively priced, the work is completely done by hand. Your finished home will never lose its value or go out of style.
